My computer man couldn't 'heal' my computer either - so I don't feel so bad that I couldn't do it! He said the hard drive as well as the mother board are gone. He did give me a 'loaner' until he gets me a new one and gets it loaded.
This loaner is the pits - Noah must have brought it from the ark with him! It's slow to respond and all that junk. Not good for much of anything but to check emails - certainly not to 'work' on!
I decided to go with a wireless laptop - my new modem is already in and the new computer should be here any day. If not soon, I'll just head to Office Depot! Patience is NOT one of my virtues!
Keep checking back - as I have what I think are some pretty good posts - I just don't want to upload photos to this loaner computer - not the mention that it DRIVES ME CRAZY! Time is better spent somewhere else right now!

Seven Days Without a Computer Makes One Weak!!!
Technical problems have kept me from posting for over a week now; and it makes me really, really sad.
The gentleman who built this computer for me is on vacation until Tuesday, July 5 and since he built it, he's the only one I'll trust to straighten it out. However, this afternoon I was having 'withdrawal' pains . .of course I didn't do any good.
Anyway, it will run about 7 minutes and shut down. Hopefully I'll be up and ready to post more after the 5th or 6th.
